Had a great experience.

We booked Star DJs for our wedding. Colin was the DJ assigned to our reception. In advance of the wedding, he discussed what we were hoping to get from the music on the night. Colin's input was very helpful and allowed us focus on the songs which were important to us and important to some of our guests.

On the night Colin said hello and then dealt directly with the hotel's banqueting manager on setting up his equipment etc. This was great as we were busy with other aspects of the day. Colin was great and announced our entry to the reception and the speeches etc.

The background music during the meal was perfect and in line with our tastes. The after dinner music was even better and Colin catered for everyone's tastes and took requests from guests which made it much easier to get people up on the dance floor. If I had to rate the DJ experience I'd give it 10/10 and I'd like to thank Colin for helping make it a great night.

A HUGE THANK YOU for making our night entertainment dream come true! We had a fantastic time, our guests loved the music, you totally went by our play list and embellished it with a few crowd pleasers. Overall a great service and every single dancing guests loved it!! pity I as the bride had to disappear a few times to mind my lovely child (hey I'm a mamma) but despite it being so, I had a few groovy moments on the dance floor thanks to you and could not have hoped for anything better. Will happily recommend you over and over again.

being a mature couple we had preconcieved ideas about what music we wanted to hear and we were also a bit worried about using a dj as opposed to a live band. the live being way out of our budget we had to use the dj. having heard star djs at a wedding a few year earlier we were happy enough though still nervous as to how it would be received. we need not have worried, our choice of music was played throughout the evening and to our amazement the danceflor was never unoccupied. the comments we got from family and friends about the music thrilled us. so all we can say is, we are delighted we didnt use a live band. our thanks to all at star djs.

A big thank you to Garvan for doing an amazing job at our wedding.

The StarDJ service was first class right from my initial email contact, through to meeting with Garv to plan the playlist. The straight forward, no nonsense approach was appreciated especially as we were planning an Irish wedding based in the UK.

I'd like to think we had suggested some decent tunes but the way that Garv put them together ensured that the dance floor was rammed all night. Comments like " the music was just BRILL-I-ANT" and " I just danced the legs off me" from our guests tells us that everyone had a fantastic night.

We would not hesitate to recommend. In fact we already have!

Tom Farrell here. I used star djs this year in clontarf castle. We had will as the dj, sound guy, set up early so we had music throughout the early evening too - which was a big plus, catered to all needs, very pleasant to all the guests and actually played a good set, unlike other djs iv used before. Would recommend again.

This is a very belated but a huge thank you for organising Darragh O’Dea to be the DJ at our wedding in Ballymagarvey Village. Once the band finished up Darragh took over immediately and was super. The dance floor was packed for the entire night and every single request he was asked to play he did, which pretty much impressed every single guest!

We’ve had terrific feedback from everyone re the music and that was entirely down to him. He also had a great manner and told me ‘not to worry’ when I never got round to putting any kind of play list together…I think all I said was Take That and a-ha….thankfully he kept everyone happy not just me!!

In a nutshell I was very impressed with the service of Star DJ's and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to any friends of ours getting married in the near future and have done so already. We had Colm as our DJ who was extremely friendly and professional to deal with and with the music being such a huge part of our wedding that we wanted to get right we were delighted to see the dancefloor heaving all night!
