We were assigned Garvan as our DJ and he honestly could not have been better - he spoke to us about our music at length and even emailed us on New Years Day! He also rang the day before just to reassure us that everything was well. He was absolutely fantastic on the day, had the crowd bopping very happily and practically all our guests came to up us after the wedding to say what a fantastic DJ he was and how much they enjoyed the mix he played. “Tim was in plenty of time for his “session” and talked to me when he arrived at the hotel. He was dressed smart casual which was perfect for the occasion. The music mix was perfect and when requests were made he played all of them which was really great. He was very friendly and both myself and my husband had a good chat with him after he finished playing.
Before the wedding I talked to Tim a couple of times on the phone and he was really pleasant and helpful. I also emailed him a sample playlist using the stardjs online music database (which was really useful). To be honest I had heard stories from friends who have had hired wedding DJs in the past and, after hearing their experiences, I was very unsure about whether the DJ would even bother looking at the playlist. But I was really impressed with Tim’s level of service. He really took on board our likes and dislikes, playing the styles of music that we really like and, although we didn’t expect him to stick to rigidly to any playlist, he played quite a few of the songs that we had suggested. So we were both really really delighted. He also played most of the requests from guests on the night which was great and really impressed them. Any guests we have been talking to thought that the DJ was great - and having dealt with Tim myself I would have to agree. So I would definitely recommend your service to friends and I am currently in the process of doing so! (I have a couple of friends in the process of arranging their wedding.) I hope they decide to go with yourselves as I know we definitely made the right decision. “
